Repair shop Celje

Where does my story begin…

Fender Musicmaster bass, 1978. My first bass, and the first one I repaired. After an unsuccessful service by a technician who was unsuccessful in his work, I took it upon myself to repair it. I bought a book on the history of Fender guitars, which also included schematics. In my first year of electrical engineering school, I was already able to identify and fix errors from schematics. Soon, friends and acquaintances started bringing me guitars for repairs and modifications, magnet replacements, and adjustments.

Towards the end of high school, I was already brave enough to tackle an amplifier. My path led me further into the world of sound engineering, where I also completed a course and gained some experience at the mixing desk. The next experience, which was also very instructive, was at an authorized SONY service center, where I gained knowledge and repaired HIFI and audio components for three years.

As I acquired more knowledge, I knocked on the door of Bam Guitar Center, where they welcomed me with open arms. For the next two decades, I gained experience as a salesperson and head technician for Ibanez, G&L, Takamine, Sire, Ampeg, Hughes&Kettner, Blackstar, Zoom, Hotone, Mackie, RCF, and probably some other brands that I have forgotten (I know I’m getting old, but I can still repair electronics without a magnifying glass :D).

During this time, I gained a lot of experience repairing acoustic and electric guitars, basses, speakers, mixing desks, amplifiers, and effects. My path also crossed with violins, tube amplifiers from 1952, Hammond organs with tubes, guitars broken at parties and during transport, effects and amplifiers spilled with drinks, flooded, and more.

But most of all, I love picking up a guitar or bass and seeing the blue glow of new tubes in an old amplifier. I approach every repair with experience, dedication, precision, and vast knowledge that I have accumulated over the years. Above all, I approach it with the same love for the instrument and music that I had for my Fender Musicmaster bass. :)
